Obituary for Robert Lee Storehalder

Hastings resident Robert ‘Bob’ Lee Storehalder, 66, passed away Monday, January 20, 2020, at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks Country Club in Hastings from 2 pm to 4pm on Sunday January 26, 2020. Flowers and Condolences may be sent to the family either at the Elks or Robert’s home. DeWitt Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Bob was born May 12, 1953, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Mary Jane and Donald Storehalder.He served in the United States Air Force. Bob loved to play golf, watch Golf and was a past member of the Elks Club in Hastings, Nebraska. He was a mechanic for many years at Kershner's Auto Corner. Bob enjoyed working on cars for family and friends. He survived cancer and is remembered as a man with many humorous stories. 

Bob is preceded in death by his father, Donald; brother, Roger; and daughter, Amanda Storehalder.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Storehalder of Delta, Ohio; siblings, Nancy and husband Steve Smith, Barbra Gerken, William Storehalder  all of Lyons, Ohio, Richard Storehalder of Waldron, Michigan; son, Ryan Storehalder of Omaha, NE; wife, Anita Storehalder; stepdaughters, Lisa Featherstone, Malinda Brown, and Tiffany Schiemann; many step-grandchildren all of Hastings, NE; and numerous nieces and nephews.
