Elaine P Davis

Lincoln resident Elaine P. Davis, 68, passed away Sunday July 7, 2013 at her home. Graveside service is 10:00am, Monday, July 22, 2013 at Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska with Debbie Way officiating. In honoring her wishes to be cremated there is no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to her family. Elaine was born December 12, 1944 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Lloyd Henry and Frances Ellen (Peery) Morgan Sr. She grew up in Lincoln and attended Lincoln High School. Elaine married Ralph W. Davis Sr. on November 17, 1962. She had several careers in her life including owning and operating a daycare, a Para Educator for Lincoln Public Schools and as a healthcare aid for Tabitha and First Care Home Health. She retired to Milford, Nebraska where she and her husband had a cabin on the Blue River. Elaine enjoyed sewing, fishing, ceramics, and collecting stuffed animals, especially ones that made noise. Elaine is survived by her daughter, Candy Chrastil and her husband Steve; three sons, Henry "Hank" Davis of Lincoln, Ralph Davis Jr. and his girlfriend Delisa of Buffalo, Kansas, and Troy Davis and his wife Michelle of Lincoln; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; her mother, Frances Lundy; one sister, Mary Ellen Macomber and her partner Shirley Vinton; three brothers, Lloyd Morgan Jr. and his wife June of Stover, Missouri, Chuck Morgan of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Charles Baldwin and his wife Mary Ann of Gibbon, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Larry Luginbill of Lincoln, Nebraska; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph; son, Jonathan; father Lloyd; sister, Jamie Luginbill; and her granddaughter, Michelle.
