While living there, she joined the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board. Later, she met and married Rosevelle Bozman and they had 4 beautiful children. They moved to Lincoln, NE where Georgia found a career she loved as a Nurse's Aide for Tabitha. She worked there for 15 years. She was a great humanitarian, was very spiritual and lived her life giving to and caring for others. This led her to become a foster parent and open up her heart and home to many children in need. It became her life passion to watch over God's children. She loved them like her own and God blessed her in full. To replenish her soul, Georgia loved to spend time connecting with God in her garden. Georgia is survived by her children; Shirley (Alvin) Long of Lincoln, Roz (Johnny) Jackson of CA, Gloria Grant of GA, Maurice (Anita) Bozman of Lincoln: Sister in Christ for 50 years; Lillian Abrams of Lincoln; 14 grandchildren: 33 great grandchildren: 2 adopted children; Tasha Roberts of Lincoln, Ashley Cross of Lincoln and a host of cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and her mother. I'm Free Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the path God has laid, you see I took His hand when I heard Him call. I turned my back and left it all; I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joys, a friendship shared, a laugh a kiss. Oh yes, there are things I too will miss. Be not burdened with time of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee, God wanted me now, He set me FREE!
