Larry E. Edeal

Hastings resident Larry E. Edeal, 69, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Nebraska Heart Institute in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Private family graveside is plan for a later date at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings, Nebraska. In honoring his wish for cremation there is no viewing or visitation. DeWitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to her family for a later designation.

Larry E. Edeal was born August 15, 1947 in Beatrice, Nebraska, the son of George H. and Genevieve (Novtony) Edeal. He graduated from Hastings High School with the class of 1965. Larry received his degree in education from Hastings College in 1969. He was an Art Teacher for 33 years at Clay Center Public school, K-12. Larry enjoyed fishing, and working in his flower garden.

Larry is survived by his sister, Pat Bartee-Mailander and Mike; niece, Ronda Pierce and Ken; great-nephew, Kodey Placke; great-niece, Kieanah Pierce all of Hastings, NE; and his best friend Molly.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
