Michael A Twohig

Lincoln resident Michael A. Twohig, 66, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Tabitha in Lincoln, Nebraska. Graveside service will be 11:00 am, Friday, May 17, 2013 at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, Nebraska with Pastor Brent Montgomery officiating. Viewing and visitation is from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Lincoln Family Funeral Care in Lincoln, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to his family to be determined at a later date. Michael Allan Twohig was born October 10, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Charles and Izetta (Harris) Twohig. He attended school in South Sioux City, Nebraska and entered the US Navy in 1963. He was employed at Roberts Dairy, Brunswick, Nebraska Pump and the Railroad. Michael enjoyed spending his free time fishing. Michael is survived by his three children Angelique Twohig, Gabriell Twohig, and Noah Twohig and his wife Heidi all of Lincoln; three grandchildren, Korben Twohig-Taylor, Alexander Estell, and Sophia Twohig; two sisters, Patty Schirmbeck, and Judy Messer; one brother, John Twohig; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Charles.
