Ronald Wieneke

Lincoln resident, Ronald "Ron" Wieneke, 45, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 at his home. Memorial service will be at 11:30 AM, Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Lincoln Family Funeral Care, 5844 Fremont Street, Lincoln, with Pastor Luke Schnake officiating. Memorials may be given to his family. Ron was born January 28, 1967 in Long Beach, California, the son of Dan Wieneke and Jan (Dinslage) Priess. He attended school at Lincoln Northeast High School. Ron was a world champion duck and goose caller from his own crafted calls, and the founder of Woods Calls in Lincoln. He was an inventor with a creative mind. Ron enjoyed hunting and being a guide for hunting expeditions. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited. Ron is survived by his mother and step-father, Jan and Russ Priess of Raymond, Nebraska; father and step-mother, Dan and Joyce Wieneke of Lincoln; sister and brother-in-law, Kristi and Brad Buller of Syracuse, Nebraska; step-sister, April Priess; step-brother, Tim Priess; grandparents, Vincent and Adeline Wieneke of Fremont, Nebraska; niece & nephews, Tashia Buller, Micah Buller, and Kobe Buller; step nephew & niece, Kain Priess and Tayler Beanblossom; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Wendelin and Bernardine Dinslage; one cousin, Dale Allen Becker.
