I have known you a long time Alan and I sure am going to miss you. You were such an athlete and a musician and an animal lover he had such a great heart just like your mom. Rest in peace Alan.❤️

Alan, I will always remember you were one of my sixth grade students at Lincoln School where I taught Social Studies.  One of the things I remember so well about you is the time you gave me a special invitation to come to your home where I had the pleasure of listening to you play the piano.  You and your mother had prepared special treats for us.  I am sending my condolences to your family.

Allen was so fun to be around, he made me laugh, even as he pranked me. The best one; was the "transvestites day", we dressed up as the oposite sex, I dressed up as a cheerleader, I had on Connie P.'s Cherleading outfit skirt, he was walking beside me in the hallway between classes, talking with me, I didn't notice he had my skirt up as we walked until the laughter behind us was so loud I turned to see why.. he ran yelling, "it's Dress up day" I couldn't catch him of course.. we laughed about it, I still grin thinking of him.

My parents (Gilbert and Sharon Schumm) and grandparents (Marvin and Elaine Kort) always went fishing and were great friends with the Smith family. I grew up with Alan. Our Condolences to you and your family.
