Bonnie J. Valdois, formerly of Kearney, NE went to heaven on September 15th, 2022 at Memorial Community Care in Aurora, NE.
A memorial service will be held October 15, 2022 at Haven Baptist Church in Haven, Kansas at 11 a.m.
Bonnie was born December 31, 1935, in Maize, Kansas, the daughter of Otis C. and Elsie M. (Owens) Dean. She graduated from Mt. Hope High School with the class of 1953 and attended business college studying to be a secretary. Bonnie married her high school sweetheart, Marvin D. Valdois on August 29, 1954, in Haven, Kansas. They were married for 62 years. She was a loving mother to their three children. Bonnie and Marvin lived in Springfield, Missouri while he was attending Bible college. They later moved to the communities of Wichita and Haven, Kansas and
Kearney, Nebraska where he served as Pastor. She quietly served for many years as a faithful pastor's wife. Many benefited from her kind hospitality. Bonnie enjoyed reading, gardening, ceramics, Nebraska Corn-huskers football, her Precious Moments figurine collection and finding garage sale treasures.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy (Mike) Brill of Aurora, NE, Michael (Denise) Valdois of Haven, KS, and Joy (Michael) Roberts of Ponca City, OK; eleven grandchildren, John (Amanda) Brill, Benjamin (Julie) Brill, Rebecca Brill, Dustin (Tennile) Valdois, Dasha Carey, Levi (Heather) Valdois, Melissa (Matt) Price, Jason (Keri) Valdois, Justin (Christina) Valdois, Josh (Gabby) Roberts, and Katey (Chrys) Fisher; 24 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; along with sister, Mary Kay Graber; brother, Ronald Dean; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Iris Cole; and brothers, Gerald Dean, Donald Dean, William Ross Dean, and Merlin Dean; and granddaughter Alicia Jean Brill.
