Judith “Judy” Carrol Carey, 78, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020, at Memorial Community Care in Aurora, Nebraska.

Judy was born December 25, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Thurman and Mary (Pabst) Wahienmeire. At the age of 6 she had open heart surgery for a leaky heart, she had a 1 in 1000 chance of surviving. Judy liked to make jokes and make people laugh and would do anything for one. She also liked to read her Bible and go to Church.

Judy is survived by her children, Bently Scott (Daray) Carey and Patricia Carey Gould; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michelle, Danielle, Courtney, Christopher, and Victoria; great-grandchild, Albree.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thurman Wahlienmaier; mother, Mary Stotts; sister, Barbara (Danny) Mayer; and son, Frank M Carey.
