Phyllis Ann Vieyra, 66, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at Mary Lanning Health Care in Hastings, Nebraska.

Phyllis was born May 22, 1954, in North Platte, Nebraska, the daughter of Refugio and Anita (Rivera) Vieryra. She graduated from North Platte High School. Phyllis enjoyed arts and crafts like beading, sewing, and drawing. She loved and cherished her children and grandchildren.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Tibursio (Carrie) Martinez of Hastings, NE, TinaMarie (Moises) Martinez of Dallas, Texas, Sonja (Jose) Rodriquez of Grand Island, Nebraska, and Danielle Velez of Dallas, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, Terry (Mandi) Martinez, Julia (Anthony) Keever, Calisha Martinez, Kiesha Lemburg, Sierra Neville, Gabriela (Isaac) Contreras, Zachary (Carla) Avina, Savannah Martinez, Alberto Bermudez, Sofia Ramos, Adriana Martinez, Graciela Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez; ten great-grandchildren; parents, Refugio and Anita Vieyra; brothers, Tommy (Alice) Vieyra, Steve Vieyra, and Roy Vieyra Jr.; sister, Cabrina (Eric) Hansen; daughter-in-law, Roberta Martinez; significant other, Michael Shirley; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Santiago Vieyra; and grandparents, William and Lenora Rivera, and Manuel and Mary Vieyra.

Private family service to be held in North Platte, Nebraska. In honoring her wish for cremation, there is no viewing or visitation. DeWitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to her family for a later designation.
