Hastings resident Rosemary Griffis Weber, 68,　 passed from this life on Sunday, October 30, 2011 after a long and courageous battle against COPD.
Rosemary was born October 19, 1943 in Cozad, to Virgil and Pearl (Fletcher) Griffis. Rosemary, better known as "Russ" to family and friends, devoted her life to creating warmth, laughter, and friendship to all who knew her.

Our time is gone,

Now you must sleep,

Only sweet memories

Are mine to keep.

Survivors include 5 children - Candy (Mark) Bosak of Lincoln, David (Pam) Weber of Lincoln, Donald Weber of Trumbull, Dwayne (Barb) Weber of Doniphan, and Cassandra (Tom) Kissel of Trumbull.　 Two sisters - Ruth Helfenbein of Omaha, and Linda (Ed) Downs of Garland, 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, former husband Donald J. Weber, and numerous other relatives.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents, one son - Darold, one daughter - Carmen, three granddaughters - Dannielle, Hope, and Christa, four sisters and three brothers.

Service
Funeral Services will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the All Saints Chapel at Good Samaritan Village in Hastings.

Memorials
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
