Shelby Sue Davis

Holstein resident Shelby Sue Davis, 32, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Mary Lanning HealthCare in Hastings.

Memorial service is 11:00am, Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Holstein United Methodist Church in Holstein, NE, with Pastor Kathy Uldrich officiating. Inurnment will be at the Holstein Cemetery. DeWitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to her family for a later designation.

Shelby Sue Davis was born June 24, 1991, in Hastings, Nebraska to Benjman and Derra (Colburn) Davis. She graduated from Silver Lake High School with the class of 2009. Shelby enjoyed drawing, collecting rocks, and loved rescuing animals and spending time with her cats. Mostly she cherished spending time with her daughter.

Shelby is survived by her daughter, Harper Schilling; parents, Benjman and Derra Davis; brother, Dalton (Nicolle) Davis; niece, Rilyn Davis; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Deryl and Donita Colburn.
